Said one Floridian to the other........With the temperature in Florida dropping down to the mid 70's, weird things start to happen in Florida when it gets chilly. The two Lori's will hug their captains tightly around their once robust chest; not so much for affection, maybe a little, but as a shield against the biting wind. ARE YOU KIDDING !!!!!!! It's -10 degrees in the Midwest..........get over it!!!

I'd like to welcome all Island Cove residents and guests to a new, hopefully informative, blog for all to share. Our goal is to create a site where all can post their upcoming visits, favorite restaurant locations, favorite Florida destinations, recipes, important dates.........etc.  Since many of us do not participate in Facebook or other social networking sites, we are hoping this blog will provide some useful information regarding Island Cove and its residents. This site is not a venue to discuss your religious or political beliefs.......we simply do not care.  We would rather know your beverage of choice then who you voted for in the last Presidential election. Each comment, which can be done anonymously, will be reviewed for its content by the sites administrator prior to being posted. Sarcasm and silliness will be our forte (and I don't mean the Bears running back).
