Lanai Painting
I'm glad someone commented on this in the Social Club post because I recall reading it somewhere but haven't seen anything on it since. From what I remember the mailing said they were to begin painting the remaining floors of the buildings and if anyone was interested in having their lanai painted it would cost $80.00....(don't hold me to that price, I'm working off a bad memory). Unfortunately I haven't seen or heard anything since then......I searched the entire website and couldn't find anything. Why do I bother? If anyone has any additional or updated info regarding this please post. As always, don't forget........sign in at the pool!!!!!

I am painting a mural on my lanai .:) bet that won't go over well...hahahahahaha...starting it perhaps this fall
ReplyDeleteThere's always one nonconformist in the bunch!
DeleteI also understand that if you want to paint the lanai yourself, you have to buy the paint from Sherwin Williams. Probably $40 a gallon x 2 gallons = $80. So why wouldn't you have it done by the painters for $80? Well maybe I may want to be more careful than when they painted the doors, drip marks etc. One other thing, I thought we all had to conform to the paint color, so if you choose not to paint your lanai, won't the shades be different? It will look like a checkerboard.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest I would much rather pay the $80 and have it painted professionally......and I'm assuming they are hiring professionals. In addition and more importantly I really don't feel like dealing with painting anything when I'm down there.....I would rather hold a cocktail then a paintbrush!!! That all being said, where do we find out more info about this.
