- With regards to security one of our major concerns was people entering from the front to use our facilities. It appears preventative measures have been taken to rectify this problem. Status: Improving.
- Our concerns with the grounds dealt with the planting of more flowers. Status: On Going
- Enhancements to the Club House included our requests for an ice machine, vending machine and a PA system. Status: Completed.
- Enhancements to the complex included (in order of preference)
- Gas or charcoal grills located strategically around the complex
- Have the pool and spa open beyond dusk
- Consider a better means to launching kayaks into the canals.
Considering where we were and how far we have come I would like to thank our current Board Members for taking the time to listen to our collective voices and begin to make the necessary improvements.

The Island Cove website is way behind. In looking through the financials, it cost $650.00 a year for the site. Meeting minutes have not been updated since 2012. The CC&R link goes back to Alliant's website. Alliant has been gone for over 7 months now. There are no new CC&R's even in the office. Board information is old. No idea who has what terms and when they expire and there is an election coming up. We do pay for a newsletter which we received, so why pay for a website that is not maintained? However, we do know a Dixie Land band is coming so if that has been posted, why is the other information so far behind? Property Staff info is outdated. Newsletters not updated since 2012. Shall I go on?
