Update.....Lock Box Issue!!

Word on the Island Cove street is the lock box issue has once again reared it's ugly head....now the brain trust would like the owners to place a sticker on their lock box which corresponds to the sticker on their car.  Umm!! How about we have the real estate agents register their lock boxes with the office and have them placed in a designated area, say by the mailboxes or the workers garage or a holder/pole underneath the owners or......There has to be a better solution then the ones proposed by these gentlemen.....

  1. We'll put! Why should the owners have to suffer....we are doing the real estae agents a favor!
AND....let THEM pay for a bar or whatever to hang their little boxes! Enough said, now who will listen? I vote for Mo!

  3. Annual meeting now gonna be in April....how nice...we won't be here. Would it not make more sense to have it in March like we used to when more owners are present to voice our concerns? Just Sayin

  5. So let's say you put your parking sticker number on the lockbox. In less than 5 minutes I will be in your condo, sitting on your couch drinking your beer. How you might ask? I write down the parking sticker number of your car, look at the condo number on your parking space, go to the lockbox and get your key and go to your unit. Of course, this is as soon as you announce you are heading back north. TaDa

  6. Trained monkeys could figure this out.....We are a condo assoc. not a real estate office. Let the Realtors go to each other's office and pick up a key when they want to show a unit. Allow the owners to mark their lock box as they wish. No need make mountain out of molehill! No need to register owners lock box....maybe let them , being the office at pool, know you have one.

  7. Has been said today that our annual meeting had to be delayed for 60 days from the last meeting. Okay...Florida laws....but still would have been nice at the LAST meeting if owners could have voiced opinions or concerns then OR they could have mentioned it...communication is horrible here. This blog is much more informative than the IC site....wonder how much we pay for that to be I maintained and updated? Anyone?

  8. The Island Cove website cost $650.00 per year for the web based format. It does not have any information that it should. It is way behind. My understanding is that it is updated by the secretary or at least it is the board secretary's responsibility to keep the minutes and other relevant information for owners to view. Last meeting minutes posted 2012. Go to the Board of Directors section and that has not been updated since the vote to consolidate at the January meeting. Who's on first?
